The Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue Foundation (MILID Foundation) will on Wednesday participate in the UNESCO Youth Debate Series.
The debate which is in its third edition will focus on media and information literacy (MIL) responses to Artificial Intelligence.
The Debate Series is part of the UNESCO initiative Think Critically, Click Wisely Peer-education (MIL CLICKS).
According to UNESCO, this edition of the Media and Information Literacy Debate Series aims to provide a platform for youth to voice their opinions and contribute to the discourse surrounding Media and Information Literacy responses to Generative AI.”
It added that the event will also serve to draw youth attention to and invite their co-leadership in the follow-up of the recently published UNESCO Policy Brief: User empowerment through Media and Information Literacy to the evolution of generative Artificial Intelligence.
